Sharon Darkin set up The Lady Gardener as a garden maintenance business in August 2000. As the business and her knowledge expanded she attended Writtle College in Chelmsford, while still working full time, and achieved a Diploma in Garden Design.
In assosiation with The Lady Gardener, Sharon is also the Head Gardener for a private estate 7 miles outside of Bury St Edmunds.
Having had a background in maintenance, Sharon takes into account practical considerations combined with aesthetics to create a garden tailored to the clients individual needs.
